YAPEKA is a non-profit organization operating in the fields of conservation, environmental education, and community empowerment, based in Bogor, West Java, Indonesia.

Legally registered under the Ministry of Law and Human Rights with Decree No: AHU 112.AH.01.07. in 2013 and renewed with No: AHU-0000135.AH.01.08. in 2018.

Publicly audited from 2016 to 2022 by public auditors (AR Utomo; Heru Satria Rukmana). Operating at the smallest administrative unit level (villages) within or around areas with significant biodiversity potential, such as National Parks and Wildlife Sanctuaries. Managing 48 Programs covering 23 Provinces and spread across 121 villages throughout Indonesia.

Through collective learning and an intensive maturing process, we have gained knowledge and invaluable experiences alongside communities, partners, and colleagues. We have integrated these experiences into our professional approach to education, community-based sustainable resource management, empowerment, and protection of natural resources.
