Kegiatan masyarakat yang sebagian besar adalah nelayan dan bertani rumput laut, diperairan Nusamanuk. Di dusun Nusamanuk juga belum terdapat listrik sehingga pembangunan instalasi PLTS mendukung kegiatan ekonomi masyarakat
Untuk menyiapkan rangka paus tersebut, perlu dilakukan penyusunan rangka paus yang berasal dari rangka paus mati yang telah terdampar dan dikuburkan di Pulau Sabu.
